AutoFinanceNews.net is the premier online Auto Finance professional network. It is the online companion to the publication Auto Finance News – the leading periodical on the Auto Finance industry. AutoFinanceNews.net was created in 2009 on a customized NING Social Network platform (au courant at the time) and has enjoyed a loyal and strong audience ever since.

Originally a cross between a blog and a more forum-oriented site, AutoFinanceNews.net evolved into a more conventional news site in 2014 using WordPress as a base for a content management system that the entire editorial team could easily use. The goal was to present a clean and easy-to-navigate user experience where subscribers and casual readers could access the information they’re seeking in a more user-friendly and contemporary format – as well as carrying over the legacy content from NING (quite a challenge).

Aside from the role of managing the site’s visual identity and back-end functions and training editors on how to use it, I also contributed to the site editorially with articles and photoblogs.
