Xiamen Airlines’ new look

Returning from a test flight, B-5656 proudly displays the then-new livery of Xiamen Airlines. the first privately-owned airline in China, had up to this point flown a mixture of Boeing 737 and 757 aircraft, and this new 737 represented the first major branding change to the airline since it’s founding. Within two years, the rapidly expanding airline would also take delivery of the 787 and, later, begin long-haul services to Europe.
