Sunset Delivery

Posted on Jul 9, 2014 by in aircraft 2014

Boeing currently produces 42 737s a month at its factory in Renton, Washington, and virtually all of them are flown first to Boeing field for pre-delivery prep. With the production rate at a historic high, 737s are constantly being delivered to carriers as close to Boeing field as Alaska Airlines and as far away as Turkmenistan Airlines. On this summer evening, El Al was flying away in a new 737-900ER, headed first to JFK, then across the Atlantic to the U.K. and ultimately to Israel.
