CargoFacts.com is the online home of Cargo Facts – the Air Freight & Express Industry’s Publication of Record.

Cargo Facts was originally represented online, beginning in 2010, on a customized NING Social Network platform – CargoFacts.net. Although this format had worked well for some communities (and fostered discussion and user involvement), it came with the drawback of limited visual control and an antiquated user interface.

When it came time for a refresh, I migrated to CargoFacts.com and to WordPress, which gave a much better visual user experience and was overall easier to use for both the users and the editorial team. The site was customized for mobile scaling, better advertising displays, additional time on site per user, and much more. The site debuted in early 2014.

Aside from the role of managing the site’s visual identity and back end functions, I also contributed to the site in an editorial capacity.
