AutoFinanceSummit.com 2014
The Auto Finance Summit is the industry’s premier conference. Each fall, it attracts between 700 and 1000 Automotive Finance Professionals and Executives, ranging from Dealers to Finance Company CEOs, for two to three days of learning, cross-pollenating ideas, and networking.
The 2014 event was the seventh Auto Finance Summit for which I designed the visuals. In 2012, I designed a brand new web presence for the event that scrolled vertically through the major elements of the conference, presenting each element visually and inviting the user to experience more. The interface was an early mobile-first design. Original photography of past events was deeply incorporated into the experience, to provide guests and potential attendees with a look at what the event is like from a first-hand point of view.
For 2014, the overall layout was retained but new visuals, to differentiate that year’s show, changed the look if not the feel.
In addition to designing all of the marketing pieces and the online presence and e-mail marketing, I also designed the exhibit booths, exhibit hall entrance units, registration desks, signage, and all collateral material (for a conference with 1,000 attendees) – by myself. From 2010 to 2015 I designed five to seven business conferences a year – and all their materials – entirely on my own.
