Repro Photography

Photographed for Swann Galleries in 2006, these items were just some of the many thousands of objects photographed in studio environs for auction catalogs. Items ranged from antiquarian books (sometimes as much as 400 years old), which required great care, to light sculptures, metal models, 3d objects, and highly reflective prints and posters – all of which required very special approaches in terms of how they were photographed. The objects ranged in size from small coins to wall-sized, 10-foot-wide murals. All shoots time sensitive, and often times as many as 100-150 images were processed in a single day, then color corrected for cataloging.
