Bank Innovation Israel
In its premier year, Bank Innovation Israel was a summit for startups and tech investors held in Tel Aviv. The event was an expansion of the Bank Innovation Summit, an annual event in the United States which focuses on emerging technology in Banking. I also designed visuals and support materials for that show from 2011 to 2015. For this show, I developed a new visual identity themed on previous iterations of the U.S. event. The over-arching theme was collaborative design – many startups in this sector are the result of small teams working together and still others are the product of labs set up by larger firms. I designed an all-new website for the event aimed at being equally friendly to devices and desktops. Desktops were treated to video backgrounds (I sourced and edited the video content myself), which were eschewed on devices utilizing wifi to help save bandwidth and present the content quickly. To speed turnaround time for future event sites, this new website was made modular and varianted out over many brands – it was designed to be modified and redeployed for a different event within a single week by just one developer. I also created a full set of signage and graphics – including e-mail marketing, Powerpoint decks, and related materials to support the event. This show was a major success – attendance ultimately exceeded expectations by more than 200%. |
