Rusty Memories

This ’81 Honda Civic looks like it could have spent time underwater, but at the time, it was somebody’s regular driver. It lived near the intersection of Payson Ave. and Dyckman St. for many years, though I haven’t seen it since 2010. Despite New York’s relatively tough inspection laws, this car was fully legal to drive – not abandoned or sitting for long periods either. Like the car, the graffiti is also only a memory now.
